Self-reflection may lead independently to creativity, depression (Monday, June 14, 2010 / 6:09 AM)

Self-reflection may lead independently to creativity, depression. This is quite true. Currently there is no scientific prove that self-reflection may lead to creativity, or even depression. However, i agree to it to a certain extent. To self reflect might means to reflect on what we had done and what we learnt from this particular issue.

For example, you may need to do a self-reflection after attending a certain course. This enable people to refresh ans reorganise what they had learnt. This certainly doesn't lead to depression. However,it may refers to reflecting ourself from the wrongdoing that we had done. This may have the possibility of leading one into depression as they might be too pessimistic towards themself.

Self-reflection might leads to creativity may be because as self-reflection needs personal space. Creativity also needs personal space to develop new ideas. Self-reflection requires us to recap on what we had learnt, this may spark off the creativity of human brain to generate new and creative ideas!
