After reflecting on the past few weeks articles, I find that the articles are very meaningful. The article taught me how to cherish the things around me and things happening around me.
The recent article on “2010 Year of Biodiversity Tries to Rein in Runaway Extinctions” I feel deeply disappointed as I felt that we are sort of indirectly killing the animal species. Although there are measures to control global warming i still feel that a greater endeavour is needed to help improve the biodiversity of our world.
Other articles such as “How Singapore tried to stay young“ shows us what are the ways Singapore tried to “stay forever young” and while competing with other countries. The article on plagiarism is quite an interesting one as it shows how plagiarism is deal with at different level. I think this will cause some social problems such as cheating and lying in the future. Counselling is given to primary school kids who are found to be a plagiarist and how serious it is to use other people works as their own. This is a serious problem we should not overlook in our education system to the children.
The first article on mother tongue weighting sparks off a lot of debate from the public. So far the issue has not came to a conclusion yet. (Correct me if I m wrong on this).
Article can provide us with the useful information to improved our knowledge and wisdom .while some alert us on the important thing we have to take note in our life.
