It is good for the primary students to learn about citation. This helps the students to learn how to write their reports and projects by using their own words. By the time they reach secondary schools and higher- level institutions, it will be easier for them to type a proper report.


Articles out there act as references to help students understand the topic more. Students should learn to appreciate the work of the author which helps them to gain knowledge. It is only right to give authors the recognition of their works.

In schools, there can be workshops to teach the students to understand the consequences of plagiarism and the correct ways of citing a phrase or example. Consequences should be clear and harsh to ensure students will not to copy any of the works from the net or books.
